herald bonnet chrome strip

new fixings on order 5 in total . best way to clip the chrome strip back , last one i ended up putting a dent in it would not lock down so i used a soft mallet and soft cloth dented it though . paul

Could the strip be put on with sealer/glue.
I imagine using tape would be difficult as it needs 2 reasonably flat surfaces to work well though you could put epoxy to build it up in the centre strip at the points you wanted to use tape.

have the new correct fixings just hard to clip fix down paul

 maybe  the last one was tight for some reason, had to hit it quite hard left a small dent hopefully this one will be ok paul

tried that no way would it push over had to use a soft mallet and cloth, will try your method on this again see how it goes paul
