DanMi
looking at it there is a hole for the rocker feed at both ends, since there is only a rocker feed at the rear, it is designed to fit either way
JohnD
Digressing, the rear spring is sometimes marked "Front ^" (or "Back^", I can't recall!) I understand that this was to speed the assembly line, because it can be installed either way around, but the line managers found workers losing time puzzling about it. Maybe the gasket needs a similar mark, however unnecessary in practice. JOhn
martyn wright
Hi! When I fitted it on my 1600/6 (Back Last Year) I rang "Canley Classics" where I purchased the Gasket from and was told it can fit either way! So I fitted mine with the stamp up and its been fine!
