Gnasha
I have inadvertantly fitted a manifold with the inlet flanges angled upwards. I think the triumph saloon had these. I have over hauled the carbs and fitted them. My question: will the angle effect the operation of the carbs? floats etc. Is there a soloution apart from sourcing the correct manifold? I thought of machining the carb flanges to suit the faces fitted to the head, this would eliminate the problem but the studs in the flange would remainslightly angled. Any help would be appreciated. Pete Lewis
Some thoughts depends on what car this is on, but will the the carbs clear the bonnet ?? if angled it will upset the fuel level in the chamber probably better to reface the head face angle than the carb flange or source the right manifold

Gnasha
This is currently fitted to a GT6 MKIII if that makes any difference. the angle is only about 10-15 degrees approx Regards John
Clive
I would think the bonnet won't shut. Mighty close on the low type vitesse/GT6 manifold, and that is with short dashpot HS6 carbs.
