DrKai
So I had a garage lined up down the road from me for a long term rent to work on the car. However this has fallen through. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? I've put letters through the door of pretty much every house with a garage in working distance and contacted most of the farms in the area. Guest
Hello. Have a search / place an advert in media outlets such as Daltons Weekly and Friday-Ad; both of which cover the Cov area. There are a number of companies renting garages such as www.lockupgarages.co.uk so it's worth having a search on net if you have not already covered these various options. Good luck. Richard. Guest
Further to my last, I've just looked on Gumtree and there are 29 garages to rent in the Cov area, so they are out there. Regards. Richard.
DrKai
Gumtree has been scoured, nothing really suitable to work in just for storage or crazy money. Appreciate the suggestions
mishmosh
Use social Media. For example on facebook we have Shropshire farmers and small holders Shrewsbury Buy and sell etc, all work really well. We have let out a couple of stables for storage this way. JohnD
Have you asked local council about a lock-up? They don't have light, power or water and usually forbid work going on in them (to prevent them being used as business premises) but if storage is all you need.... Guest
John. If you have a look at thread 4, it appears this chap wants a garage to be able to work in; so the storage and lock-up route are not going to be suitable. Probably looking for at least a 1.5 garage with light & power - not the easiest premises to secure and only with a hefty wallet in most cases. Regards. Richard.
