Smudged 1965 Posted June 17, 2018 Report Share Posted June 17, 2018 Hi Can any one shed' a bit o light on a clunk from my spit rear end when taking up drive or decelleration. Recently replaced diff new, prop new, wire wheels n hubs new, handbrake a bit slack. Think it was there faintly and occasional before work undertaken. Clive Posted June 17, 2018 Report Share Posted June 17, 2018 Tie rod bushes, or mount to the body. Spring eye bush, though unlikely. Definitely not the wire wheels? I would triple check them, new or not! (But I have never trusted wire wheels) and are the splined hubs correctly mounted? I think there are special nuts, and possibly studs need shortening?
