NonMember Posted March 26, 2019 Report Share Posted March 26, 2019 I've not seen it myself but I'd expect a "too many connections" message to mean the server hosting the forum is overloaded. That's not necessarily too many people "active" (or even logged in) but too many devices of any sort attempting to access any page on the server simultaneously. In general, a "connection" lasts only as long as it takes to render the page, or less, but if you have a slow connection and click "open in new tab" on all the unread posts at one go, then you may be responsible for several simultaneous connections from one PC!
