There is a chassis plate but it was only for factory use, mine is on the cross member directly under the engine. V5 shows the VIN number if I remember correctly. thescrapman Posted April 12, 2019 Report Share Posted April 12, 2019 With your age of car you do not actually need to display the VIN number, but it is so much easier to avoid any hassle at the MOT station, so all I did was scratch the number on a bit of alloy plate and rivit it to the bulkhead. Don't screw it, as screws are easier to use if faking an identity rather than the box of pop rivets on the shelf apparently. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
