NickTruman
Hi Everyone Can someone tell me how big the letters/number are that are stamped into the body/chassis plate? My one is missing so i want to replace it, and need to know what size metal stamps i need to buy. Regards Nick

daverclasper
Easy to ring a Triumph, or ad Convertible status? Edited October 23, 2019 by daverclasper
Colin Lindsay
The vin plate is missing from my green 1200 estate, and if I ever start the restoration I'll have to use BMIHT for the actual commission number - I have the reg, the body number and the engine number. Once obtained, I'll stamp my own plate, which I bought as a blank years ago. Two rivets are really all that stops any Triumph being cloned, but unless you're making a fortune by cloning a very rare or famous car, or selling a stolen one, what's the point?
