Nigel Clark
Often within an hour or two of posting, I receive a notification that another forum member has reacted to my latest post. But when I check, it's rare to find that anyone has replied. Anyone else get these 'ghost' notifications? Nigel
dougbgt6
Might not be replies, could be "likes" Doug
Qu1ckn1ck
Not noticed anything like that. Has someone "liked" you post without a comment, perhaps?
Nigel Clark
Thank you both, I hadn't thought of that but it makes sense. You should be getting notifications in a moment, when I like your posts above. Nigel
NonMember
The notification is slightly different. If someone has replied and quoted you, it says "quoted". If it says "reacted" then it's a like. I don't get notifications of replies, unless quoted, because the forum software can't tell whether a contribution to a thread is specifically in reply to you or just a general comment, of which there are so many that I really wouldn't want to be notified of every one! dougbgt6
Nigel, If you look top right you will see a bell and an envelope, if you've got a "like" there will be a red dot (? No! a number, I just got one!) next to the bell, click on the bell and it will tell you who did what, click on that to go to the scene of the crime.
