deefer Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 Had my 13/60 Herald serviced today and discovered the water pump is leaking. Any advice or recommendations where to get one or whether there is a most suitable one to fit? Want to get it done soon so I can continue using it while the (supposed!) summer is here!
Pete Lewis Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 All the main suppliers pretty much offer the same unit, its take your preference on who you use Do a search for gwp200 the unipart p number pete
Clive Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 I "think" the current ones are OK, in the past they have had very short lifespans. If (big if) you can find a genuine unipart/stanpart version I would buy one.
Colin Lindsay Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 Treat them as a service item and expect to change every two years or so. They don’t make ‘em like they used to!
Guest Posted June 26, 2015 Report Posted June 26, 2015 Contact Canley Classics. Their quality is spot-on, with very decent prices and next day delivery if required. Regards. Richard.
deefer Posted June 28, 2015 Author Report Posted June 28, 2015 Thanks all. I think I'll give Canleys a call in the morning and order one from them. The current one's been in longer than I've owned the car - ten years! No wonder it's time for a new one!
