Type 16 Sticking brake caliper piston

Hi. I have done this job before, though approx how much of the piston can I push out, without it popping out please?.

about a pad thickness  i reckon

no  few things  on the go down here and its too much and too far  and i dont need any parts 

if i drive for 3 hours it would be  to the seaside for some chips   Ha !           not a load of old triumphs

Us lot over in Cambridge did that last month - drive 3 hours to the seaside for some chips... in a load of old Triumphs.

I thought the Hokey Cokey was what it's all about?

I drove 11.5 hours to get to Hereford, went to Malvern next morning and had four hours at the show before having to turn round and drive back again. That's dedication!! (Did get chips, too...)
