  1. Are you confident that its not "Pinking" !
  2. I use one of these - https://shop.snapon.com/product/Double-Square%2C-Inches%2C-Chrome/3-8%22-Drive-8-Point-SAE-7%2F16%22-Double-Square-Socket/F314
  3. Assuming you are talking about the diameter at the start of the taper on the bottom of the wheel it is a GT6/Spitfire optional extra wheel - the diameter of the SPLINED hole at the front of the wheel will be approximately 14mm. If the diameter of the SPLINED hole at the front is 3/4" then it is likely to be a MK1 PI wheel. The attached images are for a Stanpart Optional Extra wheel for a MK2 Spitfire.
  4. Back in 2014, a member (Jonathon Cronin if I remember correctly) very kindly scanned the entire back catalogue of Couriers (number 1 all the way to 414) and the Club assembled them onto a set of DVDs that were sold via the Club Shop. It appears that stage 1 of the project is to put the contents of the DVDs on line, plus the very recent Couriers. I suspect that the 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 couriers either need to be scanned to put them online, or someone needs to re-run the PDF process to generate file sizes that are more compatible with a web presentation as the PDFs that are sent to the Printers are enormous so that we get a very high quality print.
  5. It’s defiantly NOT an original GT6 MK1 wheel. It’s either a MK1 2.5PI wheel or an optional extra stanpart wheel for a Spitfire or GT6. the measurement you need to tell them apart is the diameter of the hole in the centre of the mounting boss. The diameter of the steering column on the spit/GT6 is smaller than the one on the 2.5 PI
  6. I think that the centre boss is too big to be a MK1 GT6 wheel. It might be a 2.5PI steering wheel, or might be an after market wheel sold by Triumph. check the splines - does it fit a spitIre/GT6 column, or as the hole bigger ? if it fits the spit/GT6 column then it’s a Stanpart optional extra wheel, if not it’s a MK1 2.5PI Wheel.
  7. The "Installation Screen" problem seems to have disappeared, so all well there. Something I have found another default setting that that could be useful. As you know, clicking on the big black dot or star next to a topic takes you to the first unread comment, and clicking on the time takes you to the latest comment on a tread. You can also select how clicking on the thread title behaves : a) Take me to the comments I havent read b) Take me to the beginning c) Take me to the latest comment You set this by editing your "Account settings" - drop down in the top right corner with your screen name. Then on the left hand side, select "Content View Behaviour" and pick the option you require.
  8. It's all running at normal speed for me too, but I'm on a very "fat" pipe onto the Internet - I'm getting Speedtest upload and download figures of over 600 ! It could be a bottleneck elsewhere in the internet routing system, or only effect access via some specific ISPs networks.
  9. All, We are in the process of preparing the forum to create a TSSC Members only section, for TSSC members to have discussions that can only be read by other TSSC members, rather than the entire Forum membership. To start this process, we need to be able to connect your forum user name with the main membership database, and therefore we need you to enter your membership number. If you are not a TSSC member, then simply enter N/A when prompted and carry on as normal. Your membership number is not going to be publicly displayed, it is for Forum admin purposes only. If you want anyone else to know your membership number, then include it in your signature. Kevin
  10. Two of them on Ebay at the moment : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STARTER-SPRING-COMPRESSOR-SYKES-PICAVANT-JWP-376/124325056819?hash=item1cf259d133:g:2gEAAOSwRO9fUpwa https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SYKES-PICKAVANT-ARMATURE-SPRING-COMPRESSOR-FOR-LUCAS-M35G-STARTER-MOTORS-660200/233706358931?hash=item3669fc0893:g:HhwAAOSwZHRfVns4a
  11. So did I just now, whilst trying to enter the forum - running Theme TSSC 3. BW, which theme have you got set ?
  12. How strange - I've just e all of the stuff I haven't read, and the top posting on the list caused the same "Installation error", but all the other threads were OK. I need to wait for another new thread at the top of the list and see if it does it again. The edit I did to remove the sidebar was very brutal !
  13. Theme "TSSC 3", which you can select from the small button at the bottom of the screen gets rid of the sidebar with the stats - It was a very crude edit, so I don't know if I've "damaged" anything else. With the settings I've now got, you get almost the entire screen width available. I will continue playing with the settings, so expect to see more changes, and please report if I've broken anything else.
  14. I find that I get "missalignment" when the thread is "photo rich".
  15. Nothing should have changed on that one - the dark blue "dot" or "star" at the left hand side - only available until you have read the thread and then it goes very pale and not active anymore
  16. Agreed, WHEN I can find where the code that puts the box where it is I will remove it - BUT it's not in any of the top level config files and appears to be buried in the operating system. ANYONE that goes for the latest IP board software will have the same problem, its NOT unique to the TSSC configuration.
  17. No, that's what automatically happens when a thread hits 3 pages long - I'm experimenting turning it off for mobile devices (which Scrapman is testing for me) as it takes up screen width and on a mobile device it could be a problem. No way of disabling it on a normal computer display - but I can set it on the left instead of the right - try the TSSC 3 theme !
  18. Header next etc no white and the notification bauble now red ! The Author button on a post in a thread identifies who started the thread in the first place
  19. That's not a new feature, it's always been there !
  20. I'm using Chrome on a laptop and it highlights my spelling errors and when I right click on them it offers the correct spelling - but tablets don't have a "right click" do they ?
  21. Only if I put in a lot of work on a new skin - Invision say that the new themes are designed to be brighter
  22. It's a very slightly different skin - there is slightly less unused space at either side of the screen, and it may solve another problem that Scrapman has found when browsing with an iPad - I'm waiting for his response
  23. I'm playing with settings - do you want it to stay ?
  24. I'll have a look. but nothing in the release notes of the upgrade to say its been disabled.
