Colin Lindsay
I've been contacted by a Classic-owning friend who has a set of wheels he can't identify. I thought they may be Dunlop but they don't match any I can find online. Anyone know what they are? Marked 6 J 13 GT; I haven't seen them in person and don't know the PCD yet. Gary Flinn
They look very similar to the Dunlop wheels for the MGB GT V8 Models from the 1970's, so may well be Dunlop's. What does the wording on the bottom left say, I can make out the word TYPE but can't read the rest? Regards Dunlop MGB GT V8 Alloys.webp

Colin Lindsay
Not Dunlops, or at least not the usual Dunlop 'Safety wheels'. That was one of my first online searches. See how the 'segments' in mine are fluted / open ended? The MG versions are closed, like a rectangle. I also tried Reliant Scimitar, but same sort of thing. NonMember
No, they're more similar to the TR7 factory alloys, but they aren't them either. However, they may be Cosmics (which was my immediate first thought - possibly as I have Cosmic Mk3s on my GT6 - but Google only showed very different styles of Cosmic) according to Quiller Triumph
mark powell
How about these? http://www.banks-europa.co.uk/pinboard/pinboard_view_advert.php?pin_id=1680;
NonMember
Lotus Europa would make sense for Cosmic wheels - the ones I have were original fitment on some Lotus models of the time.

mark powell
Dunlop, according to these? https://acespeed.co.uk/product/nos-sh-original-mini-alloy-wheels-in-need-of-refurbishment-as0166/
Colin Lindsay
The Lotus wheels are an exact match while the ford idea makes more sense; I don't think my mate ever had one, although he's had classics for fifty years. I'll have to check the PCD when I next see him.
