back in the 60s 70swhen a biked  i wouldnt go out without a bike mirror to see whats behind you 

trouble is bikes these days have no lights no dynamo no mudguards  no bell no saddle bags   and certainly no Mirror   

suppose thats progress

I pick my daughters up at glasgow uni sometimes after "functions" so I drive through Glasgow centre , the number of cyclists with no lights darting out between parked cars, dark clothes, those deliveroo electric bikes again no lights and there are a lot believe me. And we get in trouble if they get knocked off.
