Went to view this Spit yesterday I found on eBay, feel sorry for who ever is purchasing it.

Supposedly 5 small holes and a paint job.

Fails to mention that the doors don't fit the gaps, the car is riddled with filler, needs at least two new panels, new interior, or that the body isn't actually square to any other panel at all!

 

The seller really couldn't care less about it and was just hoping to make as much money as possible.

I think after reading the sellers description I'd have been expecting something in a very rough state.... You can't disagree with the description of it being a 'project'!

At under a £1000 it might have been worth it but at over £1700 there are surely more reasonable projects out there. Only my opinion but would be nice to see it all done with someone else's money and effort.

The £1700 isn't the start price.  Somebody has bid that................  Agreed - not a wise bid.  A grand or less would be fairer.

It got relisted - I guess that when the winner went to collect it they realised that the description of condition was rather too generous.

How many years has he been trying to sell it.
