If you're struggle to find the right exhaust it's worth remembering that there are firms out there who'll fabricate whatever you want. I had a stainless sports exhaust made for my P38 about 20yrs ago (because nobody then sold one at a fair price) and I think it was only about the same price as a good quality std system. I got to choose how it looked at the back, the exhaust note etc.

If we want manufacturing in the UK then let's use these sort of people instead of just shipping in more Chinese tin because it's £20 cheaper. I can't find the company I used, maybe they've closed or moved. If people like us don't support British industry then who will?

Just to keep you in the loop guys - the following works is requested to be done.

Hi Dale,

For now you can go ahead with:

1. Servicing Car @ 250
2. Tuning @ 85
4. Install ordered parts @ 350
5. Fit carpet set in boot - free of charge
6. fix heater knobs if you can tell me the price @ ?
8. Install footwell lighting if you can tell me the price @ ? (should be fairly straight forward as seen before)
13) incorrect/insecure routing or rear brake hoses & fuel line at rear under car @ 110
14)  accelerator is very heavy/stiff and noisy. It probably requires a new cable and some lubrication elsewhere in the mechanism @ 50

If the gearbox price comes at £600 VAT inclusive then I would like to proceed, instead of fixing the main beam and indicator + adding audio which works out roughly the same given the units are expensive.

Hi Frank

What are points 9 to 12 or am I just being too nosey...

I might drop Moordale a line later on in the year to see if he can do some paintwork/scratch repairs to my car and possibly a bit of hood straightening....he is not too far from me.

9. Indicator is not self cancelling when turning left, it seems to work when turning right.

10. Replace windscreen seal

11. Install radio and speaker wires - I can provide the units @ 116

12. Heater vents in dash rusty - need to be cleaned or replaced.

I've contemplated and music is always a feel good factor so will be installing audio @ £112 and I may re-do the exhausts @£125 (installation) as it's ear-numbingly loud! (pic attached)

Thanks Nautam - im doing lates this week so unfortunately won't be able to attend.

Hi Nautam,

Unfortunately yes as I've been promoted which means i'll be travelling a lot so can't really enjoy it for the summer.

I want it to go to a buyer who will truly look after it.

Once i'm back in UK for good then i'll probably do a MK3 or GT6 Project :)
