Took the 2500s for a drive , well up and down the garden / driveway as its been layed up over winter. Just as I was going to put back in the garage the clutch stuck on!! Found the slave cylinder had pushed the arm out and stuck with the fluid dripping out. Release the arm by the pin and the clutch sprung back. The falk arm pulled out from the slave to revel a threaded end with a nut on? That can't be right? Pete Lewis Posted March 28, 2020 Report Share Posted March 28, 2020 on refit the slave mount lugs must go on the rear of the engine back plate bracket , there is loads of residual travel in the slave if the old rod was made as some adjustable idea its back to whats the angle of the release lever ??? Mathew Posted March 28, 2020 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2020 Thanks for the help pete. All back together now and a little test in the garage, it seems to work fine. I don't think it was adjustable as the fork was the same length as the new one. It just looks like some ones bodge. I'm sure I will find others if I'm allowed to drive it this year!
