avivalasvegas Posted December 5, 2020 Report Share Posted December 5, 2020 Contis are on the car, replacing the tyres that were made in 1996 and 2008 respectively!!! I couldn’t believe it when I saw that not one but two previous owners drove the car with severely expired rubber. Egad! On the plus side, the tyres as excellent with a noticeable difference to rolling resistance, perceived by how much earlier I take my foot off the throttle to coast to a stop. It's a good justification for not fitting the cheapest possible remoulds to a powerful car but how much it says about real world "budget" brands is open for significant debate.
