Johno
Evening all, I've been trying to find washer jets for my mk I'd spitfire but they're either so small they almost fall through the hole or they're so big they won't fit. Anyone got a good source. Moss is not on the list. And some lucas off eBay are too small too! Cheers johno
Colin Lindsay
What size is the hole? I have numerous sets of washer jets, no idea where they came from. Will photograph later, in case they may be of use.
Johno
I'll go and measure now. I knew it would be the first question.

PeteH
These are on E-Bay? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264300755004?hash=item3d898d783c:g:HcAAAMXQ~6VQ4OLQ Pete
Johno
They are too small, a number of pale advertise them as suitable but they often are not. Hence the question. Johno
PeteH
I realise, It is hard to judge dia from the Photo. But an M6 thread (most likely modern size) major dia is 6.5mm (1/4"). Maybe the supplier will advise?. Pete

No, an M6 thread major diameter is 6mm, hence the name. If it were 6.5 it would be an M6.5 thread. An M6 bolt in a 1/4" hole rattles around. Johno
Thanks for the posts, I am asking suppliers what diameter the thread is. So I'm all over it really. The question is just if anyone knows where the correct size ones can be found.

Colin Lindsay
Found these this morning, I seem to have a few sealed bags of them ie entire kits. The open ones (a bit rusty from storage, the sealed ones should be fine) seem to be 1/4 inch wide at the stem, maybe 3/16 so should be suitable.
