Saloon and cv bonnet identical. 13/60 and vitesse bonnets are pretty interchangeable. Good luck.

We have a citroen c4 picasso. A rather unremarkable car that fills our needs. However when you consider that the chassis is used on 5 or six different cits. C5. C3. C4. Ds4 etc And the same amount of peugeots , i am more impressed. Reduced costs and development and therefore running costs and spares sharing. All good.

If its shorting. You have a problem. It shouldnt spark.

Good point. Generally we have seen the small chassis cars going up. Especially gt6 and early heralds. Could be an interesting few yrs.

Did you discard the earth lead from the control box ?

Its in good flat condition tap bolts a good idea. Will try and find a metric one (. 6 mm i assume ) or i maye be able to get my tap in and tirned if i can apply presssure. When i checked , it would appear to have been bedded in a silicone. Worked for twenty yrs so considering the same ....

Thanks pete. Just a pain that the box needs to be out. Wonder if it will jack high enough if the props off. Or maybe chemical metal.

Well all looks fairly clean. However upon replacing the filter cover plate it would appear that a previous owner has over tightened and stripped the lower two threads. I will now probably have to removeit and helecoil. Grr.

Thanks. I know it but curious about the delay. The j type in my Bond is instant. I will pop off the plugs on the underside and clean them

Morris oils are excellent too. There was 25 litres for £60 at stonleigh !

Having had an intermittant fault for a couple of years , finally decided to bite the bullet. However its slways had a second or two delay kicking in which seems to be getting worse. I assume hydrraulic pressure slow building up ? How can i check the valves and pump ? Secondly Does the gauze fiter unscrew ( its tight and dont want to force it !

Dont get gorilla glue on your hands its PU and impossible to dhift once cured.

Use evostick contact adhesive and follow the instrictions carefully. I have also used 1 mm glazing tape.

My 165 80 tyres give great rolling radius but do catch the arches slightly.

If you offer up the wiper boxes and tube assembley its an easy check. -
Look forward to hearing more about the engine. Put a standard 1500 in mu Bond and now considering swapping the 1300 spit engine out of my hersld for the same Love the torque

Rarebits have the filler rubbers. Cant believe Bill would sell rubbish.

Sounds rich. Make sure that the choke is disengaging. Also check static timing. Try twisting dizzy while spinning engine over.

My 50 litre wont run my sander. But its a cheap sander. So that could be the problem
