Prophet
Hello all. New member here, James from Cornwall. Never owned a classic until now! Picked up this project about 2 years ago, and finished it a year ago. Never done any restoration work before but fancied giving it a go. A couple of before & after pics: '77 1500 spit I just need a hardtop for this weather!
Josef
Well done, looks fantastic! I’d similarly not done any real resto work till two years back, just mechanical maintenance on my Herald. Then the Spitfire kinda forced me in to it and it went pretty well
Colin Lindsay
Hi James - lovely job; you'll be looking for another project now!! Josef is correct; they sort of force you into learning things and doing work. Always keep one on the road and one to tinker with.

Prophet
Thanks for the kind words all. It was a labour of love for sure. I've got a tiny garage that the car barely fits in, so spraying etc was hard work. It's not perfect by any means but its ok for a first go and it drives perfectly so i can't moan. I do fancy a 13/60 herald though i love the look of the front, super aggressive!
