Kevin.payne.15
Took it apart to see and the rocker switch element rubs on a metal h section that makes the contacts. Problem is that this h section sits on two metal lumps which are the back end of pins 3&4 so they are always going th be connected what spit was the wiring diagram taken from pls kevin
Anglefire
That was a 1978 spit - the 1976 one I have has two flasher relays due to power limitations of the flashes of the time.

That, unfortunately, is the other type of switch, with the hazard lamp built in. I think they're pull knobs, like the Dolomites and big saloons had. The Mk3 GT6 has a black rocker and a separate hazard light. The switch only has six terminals, not the seven shown in the late wiring diagram.
Kevin.payne.15
All resolved. Went to Moss today and bought their switch. It works fine! Rimmer have a duff batch. Kevin
Anglefire
That's a good result Kevin trouble with bad batches is that you never know who is supplying who - my honed rocker shaft was bought from James Paddocks - but was in a Moss bag! Pete Lewis
With low volume supplies all traders mix and match where they obtain stock Our biggest problem is cost driving poor quality rather than quality at a cost We are all fed up with crap products like remote shift kits made of cheese and rough edged cup washers as just tried to fit a kit and Its complete rubbish, had to recycle some really old parts to reclaim the gear change on a local car. At least you can sleep easy now 3 switches later !!!!
