Adrian Saunders
My rear nearside flexible is somewhat tight /different to o/s. Is this union correctly mounted? Should the fixing be the other side of the vertical port, giving more room for the flexible to operate in?
NonMember
I've not looked at mine in a while but from comparison of those pictures: - the union could go the other way round, moving the inboard end of the flexible hose forward by half an inch, which would appear to stretch it even more but might closer match the other side. - The nearside hose is actually twisted. If you slacken the end on the hub bracket and untwist it then it might be less "stretched" - The hub bracket is bent slightly differently to the offside, which isn't helping
richhl
This union on my car is the other way round.. As you can see I don't have the flexible hose on, but the position relative to the suspension location looks similar to the mounting on the other side. I think this might be the trick.
