I thought Borg and Beck were "chinese poo" now Pete? The same as Lucas.  I know Laycock units do make Triumph clutches lighter especially in the Stag.

Laycock are about as good as it gets. OEM on Aston's (or were, back in the day) and yes, they are lighter than the b+b type, even the proper ones.

I have fitted a couple of the new "b+b" clutches. They bear no resemblance to proper ones, obvious when you look at them side by side that one is built down to a price.
