dougbgt6 Posted May 27, 2015 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 I'm replacing my rear shockers, I've got the old ones off, but on one of the vertical links, the thread for the nut holding the lower end of the shocker, looks in a poor state I'm not sure it will take the 28lb minimum torque required. The problem was "solved" by drilling and a splitpin (before my ownership) If a difficult to source, you may be able to file it round and retap the next smaller thread, but a new or good used one is the best solution.
