Mikey
Well I have just acquired a gorgeous GT6 which is my third after a bit of a gap -35 years. It is amazing how it takes me back to being 20 again, The GT6 is a mk3 and is close to perfect except the carbs need a little work but it’s been little used of late. I’m sure it will be perfect very soon. The seats need a little attention but other than that I’m extremely lucky to have it. Hope to see you all soon (or at some point..) mike

NonMember
Hello Mikey, another "welcome from another Mk3 owner" 🙂 Hmm... 35 years ago I was at Uni and didn't drive. 32 years ago I bought my first Triumph and 29 years ago I bought the GT6 I still have... dougbgt6
Hi Micky! Rob, 29 year? Ha! Just a beginner, I've owned my GT6 for 42 years. Micky, seats you say? I'm assuming the seat foams have crumbled away? Park Lane Classics are the best for seat foams and seat covers. Have a look. Doug

Jeffds1360
I see Mikey was talking of a 35 year gap. I'll see that and advise my first spitfire was 1969, then another spit and in 1972 a vitesse1600cv (which I swapped for a 1500gt engined Anglia 105E) so my triumph gap lasted to June gone......48 years what a fool I was!!!??? happy new year btw. Pete Lewis
I only managed a 37 yr gap from 1966 with a real rusty 1959 948 Herald till 2003 with the 1964 Vitess6 there was less rust on her at 50 yrs than the 7 yr old which had was a No floors , outriggers or body mounts wreck.
