avivalasvegas
Greetings! Looking for a dash clock for my Triumph to go with the Smiths gauges I plan on installing. Anyone have one lying around? Thanks in advance!
Colin Lindsay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-SC-Carrera-930-genuine-dashboard-clock/324491479366?hash=item4b8d330946:g:E-0AAOSwzypgL3Zj Nice clock I'm sure but the price is a bit high... :0 You could always buy one with white hands and paint them? I've done that before on Smith's gauges.
avivalasvegas
£250...Yikes! I'd prefer to hunt down a Smiths or Motor Meter unit if I can find one. They sell for a fraction of that price!

Smiths Classic Clock Gauge from Merlin Motorsport You will pay that much for repaired ones or take a chance on Fleabay one Roger

It's the red hands that are missing. I'd prefer not to open one up just to paint them.
Peter Truman
My Dolly has a DatsunJap Jayco one fitted it was slightly smaller OD but fitted in one piece into a modified Smiths case, you can’t tell the different face size and it works a treat. I had the Jayco that I picked up from an old neighbour when he moved.

avivalasvegas
All my Mk2 Smiths dash gauges have black bezels & red hands. I'm hoping to maintain this theme.
avivalasvegas
Thanks all. The replacement gauge has been sourced. This thread can now be closed.
Colin Lindsay
Post a photo so we can all admire! When I added extra gauges to the GT6 I just painted the hands in the correct shade of Humbrol enamel paint, it looks exactly the same as the two original gauges and has lasted years.
