Vitesse 1600/6 Rocker Cover

Probably the easiest way would be a short length of standard 1/2" bore coolant hose and a stubby (cut down) 1/2" bolt (that's 1/2"UNF, not a 5/16 with 1/2"AF head!)

Check the filler cap, though. The 2L Mk1 (chrome rocker was a GT6Mk1 thing) had a PCV breather with a Smiths valve on the inlet manifold, and used a special oil filler cap as part of the breathing system. You have the earlier "big pipe out the side of the crank case" job.

Bulbous Breather Cap!

mine had one of those being an early 1600 with no sealed breathing etc as said  fitting the ally cover did not infringe the breathing and no problems

appeared after a good many miles and years of rapid zooming  around the only other change to the crankcase breather was a re rout to clear the spin on filter housing

if you dont find a filter to fit the outlet  just hose it to atmosphere

with any breathing do check the bulkhead to bonnet seal is working this keeps engine fumes from going down the heater intake
