  13. Doesn't look to bad under there Jeff which must be a relief to you. Don't forget to use rust proofing fluid after the welding, i use Dynax S50 from Bilt Hamber.. really good stuff cheaper at Amazon at the moment Tony.
  14. They haven't worked that out yet BW....... Maybe go back to oil or coal like us, as we don't have gas either or mains drainage for that matter!! And don't get me started on fast broadband...... Maybe we will have to use our car heaters to heat the house when we are not out driving them Tony.
  15. That is a shocking bodge I can just about understand doing it in non structural area's, but that is playing with lives. Have a good prod about in other structural area's Jeff with a pointed hammer if you have one? Just to be sure. Fibreglass sounds different to metal. Tony.
  16. That is terrible Jeff..... The place i use for mot's refuse to mot car's that are heavily undersealed unless it is cleaned off first. They are ok with the likes of Dynax ect, but anything rubberised they wont do. I would be scraping any further underseal off pronto... Tony
  17. Do you have a compressor hand held or otherwise? If so thumb over one end pump air through a rag stuck in the other end and place in bowl of water. Continuous bubbles you have a leak No need for loads of pressure. Tony.

  19. I would be going for a used Weber bottle jack Colin, they last for years and repair kits are available if needed. I have one plus a Weber trolley jack and never had a problem with them. Tony.

  21. Wife won't have it Colin..... I did fence an area off to dump the cuttings so at least i don't have to go to the dump which is a bonus as our nearest is 12 miles away. I did toy with idea of letting a pal graze some sheep on it, but then i would have to clear up the sh*t. I does give me a bit of a break though and its not to hard on the back or my heart if i was pushing a mower around The pro's and con's of country living i think Colin......... Tony.
