I have had plenty of fuel tank drain plugs snap in my career Colin, but never a sump plug..... many many tight ones. Maybe not drained enough Oil on Triumph's Tony.

Some makes of tyres do go out of shape BW, the sealing bands tend to flatten together as they are stacked. So the guy who fitted the tyres was probably diy....... You can get an adjustable ring that fits around the circumference of the tyre which helps. The main way the do it these days is to squirt brake cleaner into the tyre and drop a lighted bit of paper in. The resulting small explosion inflates the tyre to seal it Hard to believe but it is a regular thing these days with cheap imports. Tony.

It will work BW no problem It won't work everywhere, but on a trailer it should i've done enough of them for the subtle farmers around here. Tony.

Try giving giving the bolt heads a good whack Colin, not a tap pretend you are trying to knock the trailer off it's stands The allen bolt might flatten a bit, but you will be able to knock the allen key back in so it wont round off. Don't bother with penetrating oils just hit HARD and it will come out. Give one a try. Tony.

The tyres were on my watch as warning that retreads still exist, i really thought they had been banned.... The tyre company itself tread X are fairly local to me and offer a very good old school service and the best prices around which is why i use them. Next time i go there i will ask about the retreads, but i suspect it is for the Taxi trade of which there is always a queue. Tony.

Just be grateful you don't have a home built by Persimmon Karl, you would be in trouble then I know a couple of builders that work for them, and cost cutting is how the bodges happen in new homes sadly. Plus the usual rubbish materials. Tony.
