  16. Hi Martin, you can do a compression test by simply bolting the head back on with the head gasket.. Nothing else is needed, it does not need to run it just needs to turn over on the starter. Tony.

  18. Are you sure it is the head gasket Martin? Just take take the plugs out and see what colour they are. Also does the white smoke dissapear quick or does it hang around. What is the temp gauge reading? Tony.
