GT6 MK1 - Diff Oil Change no drain plug found

I have yet to experience this. I replaced mine by turning it over until the filler was on the bottom, and gravity did the job!. (it was off the car at the time).

I got one of Lidle`s 12V pumps when they had them. I use it for oil changes via the dip tube. on my (relative) "modern", easier than grovelling underneath on the driveway. Pumps allsorts of "stuff" including 30+ litres of diesel from the Campervan I part exchanged.

Generally  oil in diffs and gearboxes does keep  its oily properties as there is no contamination from any combustion activities  yes there are wear and tear

particles which always sink and and surprisingly stay in the bottom despite all the splash going on

whilst we are 50 years on the base design had no reason to drain many transmisions whatever the make

so it depends if you love or hate a drain plug  Ha !

and if you fancy an oil change   thats fine
