I used a length of 2"x 2" wood to press the pedal while  I'm at each wheel when I did my Herald recently.

Easy in CV car. Couldn`t get a seal on the master Cylinder with the Eezi-bleed I bought so  I binned it.

you know theres tech now and for under a tenner you can have a rechargeable wifi camera that will send live video a short distance direct to your phone. They have a magnetic or sucker type base so set it up and then sit in the car free to pump away to your hearts content😁

ABVs or automatic bleed valves. I have a boxed set for Triumph brakess, never tried them in the clutch tho.

I had a set fitted to a previous car in the '70s.  There is a cone held in place by a light spring which is clamped in place when you tighten the bleed screw.  They worked very well and made one person bleeding an easy task.
