this was one of  our chairmans own cars   and  had been on display for a while at  HQ for the 13/60 event , i understand it is  now sold and was never a  club  owned  museum car .

The reliability and credibility of the seller / auction house just went wayyyy down with that statement.

My father restores antique furniture mostly for other people or the trade. You wouldn’t believe the statements made by some when it comes to sell them. I do recall one clock that’s listed in one of the trade books from about 5years ago (and valued at about £25k) as being totally original. My dad took about 6” out of its width to essentially make it look better.

Off topic a bit here, but does anyone know what colour that Vit/13/60 saloon in the corner of showroom is. I rather like it.
