Vitesse Front Overrider Fixings

Evening All

Trial fitting of panels and trim continues ahead of prep and paint.

Today I was trying to fit the front overriders and think the mountings may have been butchered in a previous life. This seems to be confirmed by Fig 9 in the WSM. Not sure why somebody would carry out such an alteration.

The car did not come with overriders so I have been blissfully unaware of this issue throughout the restoration so far.

Am I correct or am I missing something?

Thanks again.

I seem to remember that the overrider brackets are the same for Herald and Vitesse, fitted long bit down on Vitesse and 13/60 long bit up for 1200. Might help finding dimensions, have the front of a chassis in one of my sheds if you need some dimensions or photographs.
