PeteH
Slightly "off topic", but relevant I suspect, try putting the Wiper blade assembly inside a split section of 15mm pipe wrap when stored?. Works for me on the Camper van. Pete.
Colin
Useful, Pete - thanks! Btw, I saw Brian Cox on tour recently who at one point dragged out an equation relevant to the creation of the Universe, the solution to which was . . . 42 😃

Colin
Interesting indeed. Not entirely sure of the nett gain, but hey ho . . . Guess it keeps the rubbers in one position; stops grit & dust gumming them up prior to next use, prolonging useable lifespan etc . . . ??
Badwolf
Wonder how well the pipe insulation clears the windscreen?? Useful tip though.

Colin Lindsay
Wrap them in cling-film, stops them sticking to the glass when stored for long periods. BTW Doug, you want yellow...

mark powell
My kindly MOT man carefully removed the build up of green moss type substance from the Pick-up wiper blades before passing it..... It didn't get used much last year and lives under a Fatsia Japonica bush. Colin
Coda:- bought from the suggested internet link company. 28" of stiff plastic backing with rubbers crammed into a rectangular box, so stiff plastic backing (which I needed) were snapped in half! Rubbers salvageable. Suggested the company uses suitable carton/tube. Got snotty reply. Should have expected it I think! 🥴
