Badwolf Posted July 19, 2022 Report Share Posted July 19, 2022 I go with the pointy pliers with tape/shrink-wrap over the ends for protection, but with the posh adaptation of rolling up some paper to set the jaws at the correct width and then taping them. Peter Truman Posted July 19, 2022 Report Share Posted July 19, 2022 one advantage of the specialized 6 pin sockets I use is that tightening spanners are not reqd enough purchase can be exerted by hand to tighten them enough. Chris A Posted July 20, 2022 Report Share Posted July 20, 2022 I'm following this thread with interest as there is a slim chance I might have to replace the ignition switch so will need something. I had been thinking of old blunt chisel and medium sized mallet 😱 but a bit of wood and a couple of nails sounds far more sophisticated, also cheap & I have the bits.
