Triumph missed the boat by never putting a 2.5 L in, but then it would have competed directly with the TR6. Even more so with the GT6! Steve P Posted February 11 Report Share Posted February 11 (edited) If they had put 2.5 engines in MK 1 Vitesses there would have been a lot more diff and driveshaft issues, as I experienced on mine when a rear wheel and hub flew of in Cornwall.
