Unkel Kunkel
Agreed. She followed Honor Blackman into the part but she quickly made the role of Mrs E. Peel all her own and the most memorable and attractive Avenger partner. - A GT6 association also ..
DerekS
She was brilliant in the BBC series The Detectorists, as the dissatisfied mother-in-law... A very highly talented actress indeed. Emma Peel was the original sex bomb, she certainly kept John Steed in order. Very sad to see her go, God Bless. dougbgt6
Mrs Peel was the replacement for Mrs Gale played by Honor Blackman who died in April age 94. I’m more of a Purdy fan myself. Doug
Chris A
I saw her on stage in London in a performance of 'Follies' in the West End. She wasn't the reason I went. Acting and singing she could do but they 'amended' her role so she didn't have to dance. This was several life times ago when we still lived in England
