  5. I’ve modded my Vitesse so all 4 lights come on dip as well as main . I’ve added an inline fuse which isolates the dipped 4 for MOT purposes . All front lamps running on relays and output seems adequate though don’t do much night driving Paul

  8. Thanks @foshi @NonMember just requested a colour chart from Craftmaster I’m using HB Body 989 2k Epoxy Primer then on to cellulose Valencia Blue 66. I’ve only sprayed the sills so far though worked fine . Should I be using cellulose primer on top of the Epoxy then top coat ?

  13. You shouldn’t need to remove the dash . I traced each wire tidying up as I went . I added a common earth link under the dash and this fixed the panel lights . The horn which didn’t work was the hardest to fix and that was a faulty earth .I did add a new blade fuse box at the same time so the colour coding was familiar at the time . The ignition wiring can be checked by pulling the ignition into the cabin . Then with cable ties the wiring can be neatly tucked away Paul nb disconnect the battery when playing with the wiring

  16. I had a similar situation with my Vitesse, I informed my insurance company and they advised the ( Supplier ) was at fault and would provide me with legal advice . Once the seller knows you have taken legal advice they quickly try to settle which happened in my case . Paul

    Ran the compressor just for test and the noise level is much lower than the conventional oil type , so far so good . I won’t be annoying the neighbours now . IMG_4508.MOV Paul

  21. New toy just arrived . 100 litre 14 cfm , low noise 59db , no oil Will advise on performance in due course Paul

  23. Is it a single recessed handle ? If so these crop up on EBay from time to time £50 ish . Paul
  24. Need a pic to advise plus a pic of the roof fittings . Is it all one piece or 4 sections as you might be able to bring the roof forward . The sun will certainly stretch so leave as long as possible Paul
