  1. Are these available anywhere? Really looking for individual trays as opposed to the tandem one.
  2. I also have loads of hex keys... almost enough to weigh in for scrap.. Wera seem to make the best ones.
  3. We are on their waiting list... Trying to find a cat that will exist with our two dogs. Most rehome places won't let a cat go to a home with dogs.
  4. I feel your loss. It never gets any easier (nor should it). We have accompanied at least 10 of our best friends on their final vets visits... On another note, anyone got a cat to rehome in East Sussex? (replacement for our much missed old mog..)
  5. Popped a couple of 5mm riv nuts into a practise steel plate. Easy peasy, I'm going to enjoy using this!
  6. Christmas presents of Amazon vouchers went towards this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KX4TK44/ref=pe_3187911_189395841_TE_dp_1 Arrived this afternoon. Eastern European manufacture, not Chinese. Substantial feel to it. I will play with it tomorrow.
  7. When I fitted MX5 seats to my Herald pick-up, I supported the rearward extension of the runners with a short length of box section steel of suitable size (2" if I recall). Bolted through the floor on one face and bolted through the runner above. Should just be visible in the photo...
  8. Railway locomotive drivers have devices that have to be acknowledged I think it's called a vigilance device. Maybe could be incorporated into cars? https://www.eke-electronics.com/vigilance-control-system-dead-man-switch
  9. The Binky tool seems to have the manufacturers label missing.......
  10. Great info. I was also looking at the Eclipse one. Leaning heavily towards the Sealey item. I have the pop rivet variety and boy, doesn't it save time and wrist pain. The only downside is the overall length of the drill and the tool, so awkward spaces would be a possible issue.
  11. After watching the latest episode of Project Binky on youtube, I have decided to get a Rivnut tool. There appears to be a plethora of tools available, with different actions. I am tempted to get the one as used on Binky, https://tooltime.co.uk/shoppingcart/product/voche-professional-8-threaded-rivet-nut-insert-tool-3-6-mm/ But not having as much strength in my wrist as I used to, this is tempting. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-AK3039HM-Drill-Powered-Adaptor/dp/B07SJ253HB/ref=asc_df_B07SJ253HB/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=372384296836&hvpos=1o16&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14766208762200676170&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045122&hvtargid=pla-879401263877&psc=1&th=1&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=79390523034&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=372384296836&hvpos=1o16&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14766208762200676170&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045122&hvtargid=pla-879401263877 I never get on with the 'long arm' type of riveter, but could be tempted. (space may be an issue though?) https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/392578641119?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=392578641119&targetid=522579838503&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1006692&poi=&campaignid=6744139836&mkgroupid=78343140606&rlsatarget=aud-629407025185:pla-522579838503&abcId=1139126&merchantid=6995734&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgKzwBRCjARIsABBbFujDJQa0vbSNMK7E3XAi3j-wD8TKtetUh4Tb7LnnlvK33-tBpyYZ8e8aAusdEALw_wcB Any thoughts?
  12. Expensive, no. Left over from Renault Master conversion. I wanted thick for the pick - up special.
  13. I made up most of my body mount washer / spacers from horsebox rubber flooring. Solid.
  14. IRONy? The Elan was fibreglass... I'll get my coat.
  15. I was mis-informed, he served at HMS Excellent between the wars, experimental department, but not commander...
  16. Thread drift.... My late stepfather was a midshipman during the 1st World War. Being of small build , he was the one who was pushed up the breech of a large calibre gun to pull out any misfired cordite bags... After a suitable time delay of course! He later went on to be commander at Whale Island. Deaf as a post .
  17. I spent about 8 years cleaning (turning round) rental cars at Gatwick Airport.... Nuff said.
  18. Footrot Flats , from the late Murray Ball, classic!
  19. At least the front valence on the Herald doesn't affect the structure... F/G fit is another matter...

    Herald 1360

Hope he shut that passenger door properly before driving off!
  21. I only place a bid for what I am prepared to pay. If I don't win, so be it. Too many things go for more than what you could find them online for in the first place.
  22. Herald making a guest appearance on The Prisoner...
