You may have started something, will take a while to remember them all, can not remember reg's though!
  4. Your right, back in the 90's my sparkrite electronic ignition failed on the way to work. Replaced by points and condenser by the AA. I wonder if 25 years later they could get a set from the local motor factor and do the same.
  5. Kings lynn tesco, 1.19 unleaded 95, 1.25 99, 1.32 derv. But 15 mile drive, used when im near though!

A few of my books, how many have you got. This is the collection in my garage that i can thumb through and get dirty. I have a larger clean lot inside.
  7. I will get some m1144s when i can find some for a good price. I don't drive fast in the 2500s, the fact that i could still stop with partially seized brakes. If i have no stopping problems i will swap over when the pads are worn down, that might be some time as i only do a few hundred miles a year in the car.
  8. Very good fuel economy. Nice looking.
  9. They are ok, quite good thickness. Just minor marks that will soon go once on the road. All blead now and tested round my drive, servo works and brakes are much better. Waiting on some parts from chris witter (water pipe and clutch flexi) before i take it for a longer drive.
  10. Here is a pic of passenger side. had some fun with the rear blead and adjusters waiting on son to pump the brakes.
  11. I use an old low powered bench grinder for my wire brush, if something does get caught it stops quick . The ones at work will have your fingers. Light brushing on the left. I should change the right one for a mop.
  12. Failed? Drive , not engaging, jumping out or drive. A carefull look through. Maybe look to assemble and test there is drive through from input to output? Very vague description. Good luck
  13. Always good a bench grinder. Swap one of the grinding wheels with a wire wheel. Great for cleaning up rusty parts.
  14. Greenstuff, reused the ones that were on, hardly any wear on them. Just got passenger side done . Will continue tomorrow, blead and test. Fingers crossed 🤞
  15. One side done, nice smooth turning took a little bit of fitting.
  16. Parts ordered, both pipes and stainless pipe. I also ordered a braded hose for the clutch! Thanks for the heads up, every time i looked for other bits it was out of stock.
  17. When i look at witter most things are out of stock! Will concentrate on this once hydraulics sorted.
  18. I have recovered a few panels with black vinyl. I did a dash top but it was hard and not 100 percent happy with the finish. Still it was better than the cracked bits. I had a better result on the top pad when i filled and rubbed down the splits, then sprayed with a vinyl paint. It will look good both colours but it will stand out red. If you don't want it to stand out do it black, only other thing i can think of is reflection in the windowscreen?
  19. Did try but the position and did not have a nut big enough! Once i got it heated up with the socket and a meter long bar , it shifted then.
  20. Hi, i have some perished hoses . The 2500s with pas. Is there a hose that someone has used to replicate these two hoses. Should say its the bottom two to the bottom radiator. I have replaced the top hose to the top radiator a little while ago and did not want to buy a set . I know rimmer sell the hoses, thought someone would have found a cheaper way .
  21. Red would be different and stand out well, what colour is the dash?
  22. Sacrificed the day and a few old sockets. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, found a perished coolant hose with a couple of drips from it.
