  1. Sorry for the question but can someone spell out "GDPR" for me and anyone else who was wondering. If its what I suspect data protection, I thought that only applies to computer data and not paperwork? I will always had over the paperwork related to the car but with the removal of personal information like card and bank related information.
  2. Right.......... our house in stevenage. Left by the previous owner Gas pipe to the greenhouse in plastic push fit !!! Found when we got home after our first holiday to the smell of gas in the kitchen. Bathroom with a light fitting balanced on a false ceiling with enough cable to go into the bath!!! A boiler that took 20 times to light cause it kept going out. The roof was new but not paid for, council tax not paid. His daughters house secured on the house he did not cover when she defaulted , he moved to spain. Left us to sort the mess out. Yes nothing to do with us but we had to deal with it. Still in norfolk now, much better
  3. Its about two years but this is the first year its been left outside. And yes lynford stag.
  4. Steady run over to thetford forest. 50 mph is 2400 rpm in top. Should reach 7k in top! Next track day. Pulls in top from 1200 so it can be lazily driven if the mood takes. Paint has taken it toll over the summer, the sun has shown what it can do to cellulose!
  5. Yes , the more the merrier. Unless your after concourse finish . I have to mig spots and I tend to seam weld bits as well, I like to make it very solid. Brooky's doing a brilliant job. Looking forward to the next part.
  6. Would love to have a spot welder, never justify it but I know I would use it.
  7. Looks nice. The primer you have used, does it absorb moisture? I know the 2k epoxy ones are ok but standard ones do. Also filling on top of primer will need a sealer as you could get patches in your paint due to it leaching under the filler. Don't want you to do a lot of hard work only to have to do it again. Been there got the tee shirt!
  8. Reminds me of the classroom when asked to calculate the volume to do a driveway. One person calculated it would take several train wagon loads!πŸ˜‚ I would throw away the jack and get a new quality one. Sometimes the seal kit is not much cheaper than a new jack.
  9. As the title says. Taken out for a good long run . Parked up at thetford forest then back home.
  10. Wish I had known! Live not far from there, missing going out for runs, seem always to be working on the cars or at work! Next local thing I could make it to is the fish and chip run. Your car looks good in the scenery. Maybe see it for real soon (social distancing allowed).
  11. This is how I did mine, steal roof with felt to catch any condensation above the trusses .
  12. Even one of the cheap tap sets are ok for mild or cleaning out. Not for stainless though. Welded captive nuts help in all places.
  13. I'm going to refurbish a couple complete set as spare just incase, also with the front, as with running two spitfires the chance something will go wrong is a good probability. I think I will leave the bottom one to one side.
  14. Never noticed this before, has anyone else? Is it a different time? Production or aftermarket. These all come from spitfires and are of the long type.

    Not one but two

Yes two stags , coming out from Wisbech as I was going into work. You sometimes see one but very rarely two in a row. Come to think of it I can't remember the last time I saw another spitfire on the road, not including shows, you know everyday driving.
  16. The 12mm HT studs allow the fitment of mgf wheels
  17. I agree, I did slow as soon as I noticed, it was an overtake or hit situation. Looking for track time when ready.
  18. πŸ€”πŸ€•πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Lead right foot syndrome. Runs fine at normal speed, when a porshe pulls out on you and you swerve round to overtake , they then put there foot down to try and stop you. You look down when things get light and realize why. Slow and let them catch up! All in a matter of seconds. Will get somewhere to sort out once the madness is over. Its as quick acceleration as my tuned mgf vv , if not maybe a little faster. Not as quick as zx6 I had. Can't wait to take to santa pod to see how quick. Not until setup though!πŸ˜€
  19. I find that my spitfire that I tuned was steady to 105 but my puma one gets scary light about 120 but that does need wheel alignment πŸ€”πŸ˜€.
  20. So conversion to imperial is "covid 3/4"
  21. Got the t shirt for doing that on a gt6. Managed to tap enough on what was left but a close thing.
  22. Having had a series 3 with them and not one without , I loved the drive of mine and often had them free wheeling. Sold as I got fed up running out of petrol. If you got them use them, but if you run a petrol version 2.25 economy can't be your driving force.
  23. Looking good πŸ‘ are the cement bags to give more tractionπŸ˜€
  24. Every penny counts. πŸ˜€

    2500s timing

Good idea, had alot of problems with my puma spitfire and would definitely be handy.
