Colin Lindsay Posted November 7, 2020 Report Posted November 7, 2020 Current Covid Restrictions over here aren't as bad as the mainland; we can socialise outdoors with about 15 other people and go out for exercise, so I decided a nice walk along the top of the dam would be great. Every time I looked in my mirror there were all these other Triumphs going the same way. I just couldn't shake them. It turns out we all had the same idea at exactly the same time. I even detoured for about forty miles beforehand, but to no avail. All that lovely countryside I drove through, there they were. In the end I drove another thirty miles home, and they still followed me to the local town, where thankfully they went home. I hope they don't make a habit of it. 1 1
Chris A Posted November 7, 2020 Report Posted November 7, 2020 Terrible, I feel sorry for you. A shame they hadn't better things to do !
martyn wright Posted November 7, 2020 Report Posted November 7, 2020 Hi Colin! Nice Car! Where did you get your Hub Centre Caps from, I have a set but they are knackered? Sorry Colin! Yours is the GT6 I thought it was the 13/60 in white with minilite wheels!! Cheers Martyn
Colin Lindsay Posted November 8, 2020 Author Report Posted November 8, 2020 I'll be talking to / e-mailing the owner later this morning, I needed a standard steel wheel and he's got one, so when he messages me I'll ask him. He's the tall guy in the pale coat standing behind the Riley.
Pete Lewis Posted November 8, 2020 Report Posted November 8, 2020 well done Colin we need more of these self -safe - follow me runs , it works well there's fore's and against's but being positive overall it gets guys out and about as lockdown needs some inspiration to combat the agonist's and takes very little organisation to achieve some solitary fun Pete 1
