  8. You don’t need to use your clutch , I take my foot off the accelerator and flick the switch then use the accelerator gently . I’m sure you will receive more advice from more experienced users. I don’t bother using overdrive in 3rd gear . Don’t forget to switch off overdrive when slowing down. I found adding a warning light for overdrive very very useful . I have a Vitesse Mk 2 Paul
  9. I can normally buy Tesco Premium at the same price as Standard 95 from my local Esso station . I believe Tesco is supplied by Esso Paul
  10. I think you know the answer to that one 😉 I’ve had the wheels for 3 years now and the black is as good as day 1 Paul
  11. I’ve got JBW on my Vitesse mk2 , excellent value and I’ve had no issues at all. Don’t forget the alloys are wider than steels so it’s best to upgrade the studs . I’ve changed the studs to Freelander studs . Paul
  12. You need premium unleaded 97 Ron or higher . I go to Tesco which Is very cost effective Paul
  13. The clips you need are 13 - 15 mm
  14. Hi , I believe it’s 0.5 metres of each size . If you are buying quantity you would be better off buying from Moss on EBay so long as it’s Gates Barricade Paul
  15. I found 25 psi far to low on my Vitesse and settled on 30 psi Paul
  16. Suggest going for Gates Barricade and leaving R9 alone as there is a lot of fake around , I know I’ve got the T Shirt Paul
  17. I have overdrive on my Vitesse mk2 and wouldnt be without it , the diff is 3.89 ratio and at some time would like to replace with a 3.63 ratio Paul
  18. Hi Tom , thanks for the offer though pretty sure the pdf from Mark should be enough. The bolt details are what I was looking for and the dimensions of the crush tubes and the chassis brackets were a bonus . Paul
  19. I’ve just added a Huco fuel pump replacing the mechanical pump on my Vitesse mk2. Early feedback is good and starting has improved. Need a longer test to confirm the upgrade. If you need any details let me know Paul
  20. Very detailed instructions and has all the bolt specifications plus the spec of the rear chassis brackets Paul
  21. Hi Tom thanks again for valuable input . Hadn’t realised the side brackets were missing though should be easy enough to copy . Also need the steel tubing so not the crush the rear riggers Paul
