  1. How about a bit of thread drift ? The summer is for enjoying your Triumph . The Autumn and Winter for fixing / improving . In my case getting down to bodywork and spraying . BUT temp had to be 17c to spray . I have a dedicated single garage which will need heating . The garage has little insulation . I see my options as either a Propane Spacer Blower or perhaps a Wood Burner . Any ideas ? Paul

  7. Hi Don , I had a singing canary, same situation as you , tried springs which worked for a while then the birds returned . Got used to it in the end . Turned out to be the dimple stopping the RELEASE BEARING CARRIER from spinning had been flattened by the previous owner . Sorted by drilling and adding a split pin to the carrier to stop the spinning . Discovered with a recent gearbox overhaul and clutch change with Pete in control . Vitesse mk1 gearbox Paul

  11. Hi Chris, I’ve got moisture traps at the compressor and the gun . I’m beginning to think the compressor might be at fault . I’m using 2k Epoxy Primer Then Cellulose . I’ll try anti silicone and see if there’s an improvement . I’m very new to spraying and will try misting as you suggest This is what happened when spraying cellulose on a sill for my Vitesse . I’ve started to flatten again before spraying again . The other sill was fine and fish eye only started when I used the Upol Panel wipe Onwards and upwards and enjoying the learning curve Paul
  12. Bought this can , described as panel wipe . I now have “fisheye “ and don’t know if it’s contaminated air or Im using the wrong product as panel wipe Paul

  16. Just had my Vitesse MOT’d. All went went well until invited down the pit to see a nycrolock nut missing off the bolt going through the front shocker securing it to the lower wishbone . The mot guy then found a 7/16 af replacement and all’s well with another 12 months mot . We need a list of MOT stations who understand our cars . Paul
  17. What’s the best procedure to refurb the passenger door capping on my Vitesse , the pic shows the worst section where a layer is peeling . Does that mean the capping were originally veneered Paul
