  1. Currently on offer from Toolstation £20.99 . Draper WiFi Endoscope . Simple to setup , download the app , switch on , open WiFi settings , choose “wifi check” . Open app and you are away . You can even take photos with it . I’m using an IPhone SE to view . Lots of pick up tools , side mirror , magnet , hook, all attach to the camera which is on a 3.5 metre flexi cable . Camera pic is acceptable . For the money it’s ***** stars Paul
  2. You could drill a hole and use a slide hammer with the corkscrew attachment Paul
  3. Yes being mains powered it should have enough NM . mine came from Lidl and 330nm Paul
  4. The top is used for splitting the hub . I’ve not used this part as not applicable to the mk2 Vitesse with doughnuts Paul
  5. I sold my modern on Autotrader in early April enabling me to buy a replacement when the motor trade opened on April 12 . I knew what we needed and had a list . We purchased the replacement at 11am on the 12th April with a deal I was happy with . I went in the following week and 80% of their forecourt had changed together with several 21’s waiting to be collected . We’re going from 2 cars to one , plus of course our Vitesse . The second car is on Autotrader with a couple of enquires already . There’s a lot of pent up demand and equally a good supply of moderns . Not sure how that applies to classics but my guess is that is prices will trend up as there will be more buyers than sellers . There’s little point in saving with our low interest rates and COVID has given us a lot of time to reflect and decide what’s important in life Paul
  6. Could be a link for me as I had bought one from this seller 😱 Paul

  8. Unless the Club Shop have a different supplier , their hazard kit is not a good buy in my opinion, The relay went on mine and then the red plastic reflector wouldn’t stay on due to poor threads which in turn meant the bulb pings out into the car, never to be found again. The club did replace the relay but couldn’t return the rest as I trimmed the wiring . There are others on EBay different style which are low £20’s which work better plus the wiring is much easier to fit though doesn’t look as Classic . My views are known to the Club. Paul
  9. Another vote for Silentcoat , I used 2mm it’s surprising heavy , if the surface has been degreased silentcoat will stick . I used a heat gun to warm up the coat which helps with moulding round contours etc . A wall paper roller (2ins) is good for getting the silent coat to adhere to tight corners . I used silentcoat for the boot floor , cabin, bulkhead , doors , gearbox cover in my Vitesse Paul
  10. I don’t know any downsides apart from originality . Upgrades which improve reliability are ok in my book . I still have the bendix starter and will keep it . Paul
  11. If budget allows upgrade to a Hi Torque Starter . Worked for me for my Vitesse and the difference was very noticeable and never looked back . Available from the Club Shop Paul
  12. Yes agree and appealed to EBay and I lost 😨 Paul nb I had the last laugh as it’s now worth twice the price
  13. You can change your mind on an EBay Purchase . I sold a Vitesse petrol tank on EBay and the buyer didn’t collect for a month when I chased him he changed his mind and I had to refund. Paul
  14. I accessed the front plug after removing the gearbox cover in my Vitesse . I was replacing the slave cylinder when I noticed the plug was leaking . If you chisel with an old screwdriver from the middle to the side then chisel like a can opener the plug will eventually buckle enabling it to be prised out Paul
  15. I have Gaz rear shockers on my Vitesse and they are set on 2 . Scale is 1 to 10 . They were initially set to 4 then saw my 10 year old grand daughter bouncing about in the rear seat 😱 Paul
  16. Hi Adrian, what is the maker of the Viva Sunroof? Paul
  17. Yes I do have one . My son is interested in one for his MGBGT Paul
  18. Found this USA website for Sunroofs Sliding Rag Tops, lots of info including detailed fitting instructions . I’m interested in purchasing a sunroof if anybody has one for sale Paul
