    20 50 or EP90

In a very senior moment I think I’ve added 20/50 into an empty tin of EP90 . Is there a way of telling the 2 apart Paul
  2. I reused mine the Canleys replacements didn’t fit . Hopefully the correct way round this time plus removed the packed grease in the hub centre which I had carefully filled . I now know not to do this. In my defence the WSM shoes the felt side facing the bearing . Paul

  8. I fitted a red rotor because of their implied quality compared with the supplied black rotor arm . Comparing the 2 there is a big difference in height . The black rotor easily clears the electronics and doesn’t have any additional metal tensioners Another issue with the red rotor is the brass plate is loose 😱😱 Red doesn’t mean quality any more . Check out the the video , I will revert to the black rotor using the red rotor as a spare after tightening up the brass rivet and shaving some plastic on the underside IMG_2456.MOV One ? Does the Delco 6 support switching to points ? Paul
  9. Hi recently noticed my Vitesse mk 2 was missing a beat every now and again . I think I’ve traced the problem and looking for suitable remedies . I have an Accuspark Delco 6 distributor with built in electronics . It’s been on for a couple of years without issue until now . From the pics the Rotor arm is catching on the electronics . I think over the time the rotor arm has settled so it’s starting to catch . My plan is to trim the rotor arm on the underside so it’s doesn’t catch . Will this upset the balance ? Paul
  10. A window clip holder , used an old thin bladed carving knife . I heated the tip to cherry red , reformed the tip to fit the window clip then hardened by quenching with water . Paul

  12. I’ve had a Cetek for close to 12 years now . Originally purchased to maintain 2 x 110 amp batteries on our caravan . The Cetek rating was for charging 225 amps . Faultless and now with the caravan gone enjoying retirement maintaining a Vitesse battery Paul
