  9. When you join the TSSC the Courier publishes insurance valuations for our Triumphs all based on condition . These valuations are replacement valuations and reflect the condition of the vehicle. Buying prices are generally lower than the insurance valuations by approx 25%. This isn’t a hard and fast rule though useful as a guide , As far as I know these insurance valuations are not available on line Paul
  10. Great colour though I might be a tad biased When I was looking for a Vitesse I tried a convertible but preferred the saloon with a sunroof. The overdrive is a must for me . Motorway driving is much more comfortable If you can buy from a club member the pricing will be realistic Good hunting Paul
  11. The Courier does have Classified ads as well as on line https://www.tssc.org.uk/tssc/classifieds_cfs.asp Paul
  12. What Primers are members using ? Currently I use https://www.bilthamber.com/paints-and-coatings/highbild Bilthamber Hibuild . It’s only available in aerosol . As I gain more experience would like to use a sprayable primer and my research is leaning towards an epoxy primer . Paul

  14. Still unsold at £80 https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/324190068279? the location is Ely , Ivor Searle is close by ? Paul
  15. I found Moss to be the cheapest when I needed some Paul
  16. As fitted to my Vitesse mk2 Paul
  17. Vitesse mk2 saloon I can’t compete with you guys my longest distance in one day is 280 miles and then on holiday going to Ireland 1600 miles in a fortnight . For me the MGF seats made the drive much more comfortable Paul
  18. I have a clear tube linking the choke, so I can check the flow . There’s a good US site which you will find helpful , Buckeye references 175’s , yours are 150’s the operation is the same . You will find your carbs have emission controls which need turning off , this can be done later https://www.buckeyetriumphs.org/carburetors Paul
  19. Hi I have the same carbs on my Vitesse mk2 . The front choke feeds the rear carb via the second pipe on your picture . To start I would suggest removing the linking rubber pipe and see if the petrol flows when you operate the choke Paul
  20. This Vitesse 1600 engine block had a starting bid @ £100 didn’t sell now relisted with a starting @£80 . Is it not worth the asking price https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/324182874472? Paul
