Colin Lindsay
The ad for that jack says: "Never be caught out when you have this handy motoring essential." Oh yeah? Does it fix flat batteries?

Colin Lindsay
Currently unavailable but looked to be good enough kit; my NOCO gave up on the first use so I'm charging off a CTEC this weather, and of course it's not portable. I'm not sure why Amazon recommended this item as a cheaper alternative: Maybe you can listen to the radio when your battery goes flat?
68vitesse
On my second similar booster pack, very useful on holidays for charging camera, phone etc. Wrecked first one by using twelve volt socket to power a motor, over discharged the battery pack, as socket not protected by circuitry. Would not accept a charge till I connect a battery to the twelve volt socket to boost the booster pack then charged ok but the lithium polymer battery became very swollen. Comes under the heading repaired to destruction. Regards Paul
Ian Faulds
Just bought one . My modern has no spare (of course) I bought one, and this jack for £19.99 fits easily in a deep channel under the boot boards. A no brainer at the price and makes puncture repair easy.
